Each year, the Urban Learning Collaborative (ULC) shines a spotlight on the educators, leaders, and visionaries who are shaping the future of our urban communities. Nominations are officially open for the 2025 ULC Awards.

These honors celebrate individuals from the Milwaukee area who embody the mission and values of ULC—equity, excellence, and community-driven leadership. Whether they are breaking new ground in education, mentoring the next generation, or building more inclusive spaces, our awardees represent the very best of what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

We invite you to nominate someone whose work deserves to be seen and celebrated. You can nominate a colleague, community leader, educator—or even yourself.

Nominations are due by July 11, 2025.
Awardees will be honored at ULC’s Fall Ball celebration on October 18, 2025.

Celebrates those who break barriers, take bold risks, and pave the way for others. Their leadership advances inclusion, innovation, and opportunity.

Recognizes emerging leaders making exceptional contributions to education and community work early in their careers, with a growing sphere of influence.

🔹 Distinguished Alumni Award
ULC’s highest honor, given to a graduate of the ULC Teacher Certification Program who exemplifies our core values in both professional achievements and community engagement.
