Our goal for 2025 is to raise $50,000! This impressive amount will enable us to fuel Literacy, Emotional Wellness, and Workforce Readiness in Urban Communities.
The Urban Learning Collaborative (ULC) plays a pivotal role in addressing the needs of underserved urban communities, particularly in workforce development. By focusing on literacy and social-emotional well-being, ULC equips individuals with the essential skills and mindsets needed to thrive academically and professionally. These efforts help shape a strong, capable workforce while creating ripples of impact across individuals, families, and communities.
We will also be celebrating annual award winners who are A-listers in the educational field with a fantastic celebrity host, live music, silent and live auctions, and a 3-course dinner.

Each year, the Urban Learning Collaborative honors individuals who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and dedication to the advancement of urban communities. From rising educators to distinguished alumni, these honorees embody the mission and values of ULC. Nominations are due by June 30, 2025. We welcome submissions from colleagues, community members, and individuals who wish to nominate themselves. Awardees will be recognized during the 2025 Fall Ball celebration on October 18, 2025.

The Haberman and Tyler Urban Advancement Program
In 2022, the Haberman and Tyler Urban Advancement Program was launched to support the advancement of urban communities. This Program is focused on, but not limited to, learning opportunities, support and mentoring, and resources aimed to advance communities.
