Join Urban Learning Collaborative (ULC) at Ruby Tap on Saturday, May 20th from 3-5 pm to kick off ULC’s 1st Annual Wine and Chat where you will have the ability to taste a fabulous wine selection curated by our host at Ruby Tap and connect with others who love wine and are interested in supporting urban education in Wisconsin. We are so excited to get together to launch our first-ever wine tasting and have the opportunity to engage with you and the community.
Thanks to the generosity of Ruby Tap, the net proceeds on all sales from the cash bar between 3-5 pm will be donated to ULC!
This casual and private wine-tasting experience is designed to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about ULC’s Mission and Vision while networking with other wine lovers.
And the details are…
What: A casual sit-down wine tasting featuring a variety of wines, tiny food pairings, and light refreshments. Light refreshments (cheese, bread, cured meats, fruit, chocolate etc.) will also be provided. To ensure attendees have the best possible experience and prevent overcrowding, tickets are limited.
Admission: $55 + fees ($19 is tax-deductible) includes admission from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. gratuity, donation, and swag bag. 35% of proceeds from ticket sales will support ULC’s mission of investing in urban communities by expanding access to academic, personal, and professional growth opportunities. Tickets are limited to 50.
How: A knowledgeable Ruby Tap host will walk the group through each wine and the tiny food pairing. Attendees will receive a tasting sheet to record their favorite wines.
Where: The Ruby Tap, Wauwatosa, WI (free parking is located directly across from The Ruby Tap
The Wines: The wine selection will be curated by The Ruby Tap and will reflect the wine season.
ULC staff members will be present to mix and mingle, share a bit of ULC’s history, provide updates on our efforts, and talk about how we can make our 26th year even more impactful! We hope to see you there!
